Yoga Nidra, as the name suggests, is Yogic sleep in which you consciously, happily and slowly drift away into a state of deep relaxation. The technique to relax and unwind is based on suggestive visualization and perceptions (guided imagery). Unlike the quick Shavasana (corpse pose) used during the asana practice, Yoga Nidra allows ample time for practitioners to sink into it and come out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of complete relaxation, utilizing the body's unique ability to get back into balance. In today's busy world, Yogic sleep may soon become an essential tool to relax and rejuvenate.

Class size - 8

Duration - 45 min to 1 hr

Cost $12 prepay (by Wednesday) , $15 at the door.

Fridays 6:30 - 7:30pm

Wear very comfortable clothing (no belts please).

Note: You will be on your back for almost an hour. You may bring a soft towel or rug to put on top of your mat, as well as a small blanket to cover yourself. Mats and blankets provided, or bring your own.
